Artist description
Twin Marshall attack powered by Moon style drums
at nosebleed volume with strong melodies evoking
images of Metallica playing Turtles covers. In
other words, like nothing else on the radio today. |

Artist History
Formed in early '97, bonded by an unapologetic
love for power, volume and bombastic, screaming
rock music, the Spreaders managed to remain
almost completely ignored in their hometown of
Chicago, while bands playing Dave Matthews covers
pack clubs on a nightly basis. Not only have they
resisted the urge to go on a killing spree, these
four very reasonable young men have managed to
release two rocking CDs. |
 |
Group Members
Brothers Joe and James Fossett handle twin Les
Paul duties, while bassist Joel Hatje and drummer
Tim Lydon power the engine room. Everybody sings. |
 |
Instruments
Two guitars, bass, drums and lots of smoke and sweat. |

Press Reviews
Unable to garner any substantial press coverage
themselves, the Spreaders enjoy reading lengthy
articles about other bands and trying not to cry. |
