Our lyrics cover a vast spectrum of ideas from goofy nonsense to the struggles of a soul seeking God. Artist History SpinAround was formed in 1996 by lead singer Jason McKinney. It was originally named SpiritualAnimal, but this name was changed in '98 because it was too long and sounded like a heavy metal band. SpinAround had been touring independently for four years, but we've recently taken a break to do our first CD for Organic Records, which we be released next spring.
