Artist History Anne Husick, founding member of SHAMELESS, has been playing in bands since the early 80's - touring and/or recording with Ronnie Spector, Wilson Pickett, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Band of Susans, Lida Husik, Siberia, and many other local NYC bands including Tricia Scotti, Joe Bendik & the Heathens and Lach - whether on guitar, bass or vocals. Anne started playing her own material in 1994 at NY's home of antifolk, the Fort at Sidewalk Cafe.She sang with Jeanie Voisin (who has since changed her name to Jeanie Vision and put out a cd, ENDURANCE, which features 2 songs written by Anne Husick). Eventually, Anne decided to put a band together and SHAMELESS was born. The live band has changed members numerous times, but Robert Knot Watkins has been a steady member for the last 4 years, helping to define SHAMELESS' sound with his gorgeous, textural guitar playing.
