Artist History
UPDATE: Yes. I have arrived on tha West Coast. Livin' in Seattle and tryin' to piece the band back together. Let me know if you belong in Sgt York. We'll rock it... Fiddle, steel, retro keys please??
Sgt. York was conceived in Minneapolis during a snowy 1997 Christmas season. Todd, Tony, Chad and I huddled around the 4-track and bottles of Summit Pale Ale, recording our first demo-- a four song cd that set the tone for the songwriting of the following few years. Our debut cd is satisfactionmover(only available here). Buy it or download it, we don't care about the money. But please let us know if you like it (that's what we care about). Nick J will soon move the rock show to Seattle, WA, home of Damien Jurado and Pedro the Lion. Look for it. If you live there, get in touch with me. If you are Damien Jurado or David Bazan, get in youch with me and we'll bust it midwestcoast style when I get to Seattle. |
