Artist History
Nicklas Sandström (vocals, guitar), Anders Alstrin (lead guitar,
Ballafon) Tobias Ljungkvist (bass, vocals) formed the band Reminder
in the summer of 1995. Since then a percussionist has been added to the
band- Mattias Olsson.
Reminder’s Music can be described as moody dynamic melancholic pop.
The band has since their start in ’95 focused to improve their sound by
using instruments such as mellotron, ballafon and melodica. The band has
created a personal, exiting sound due to the good flow of never-ending
ideas that characterise the band’s music. You can sense a relationship
with bands like Talk Talk, REM, and Scottish folk music when you listen
to Reminder’s music but as earlier mentioned Reminder is very much
their own band. They mesmerise their audience with the groups dazzling
stage presence playing beautiful melodies and of course, by being skilful
musicians.
The Album was recorded at EMI studio, Stockholm in December 1998 in
co-operation with Exergy music. Reminder’s debut album is entitled
with the same name. The single |
