Artist description
Rainbows of Grey are the collaorations of Composer/Guitarist Sean Murphy and Composer/Vocalist Jennifer Wallenfels. Their music uses the repetition and layering of simple motific kernels at altered speeds and pitches to create aural textures that reference the visual world of fractal geometry. Much of the music is created using tape studio techniques to mutate reordings of voice and guitar but some is produced in an improvisational way using synthesisers, signal processing and samplers along with voice and guitar. |
