Artist description
Planet Jaune is the Delia Smith recipe from hell. Add one part mad Frenchman to two parts eccentric English dudes and you have the basic ingredients for a quirky, zany, tantric-sex explosion of energy called Planet Jaune.
What can you say about “another alternative guitar band”? The secret is in the songwriting. Planet Jaune serves up a healthy portion of solidly written, quirky, funny lyrics which people can sink their teeth into. Their music and their lyrics are catchy. If there is such a thing as “feel-good, comfort rock music” then this is it. There are also the “stadium songs” - well crafted, simple tracks with subtlety and style.

Artist History
Planet Jaune is known as Jaff outside the UK.
Blue Moon Entertainment (BME) came across this trio during the band’s tour of Europe. BME signed them immediately and brought the band to London. BME caught one of their gigs in Paris having heard the buzz about the band . . . they more than lived up to their reputation.
In the space of 18 months Planet Jaune have recorded a mini album with tracks regularly played on independent French, Swiss and German radio stations... and BBC Radio 1. They have toured with and supported Salad, Baby Chaos, Nada Surf and Addict on their European tours. They are also no strangers to European music festivals - playing FIMU and Aux Portes de L’Enfer (the charmingly named Doors of Hell) amongst others. Planet Jaune has also had two very successful tours of Italy and Poland under its belt. They are now working on their new album, bubbles in space.
