Artist description
Picture the irresistable force slamming into the immoveable object, magnify it out to infinity, and you will have but a glimpse of the band known as Nerve Twofiveeight. Fusing the pulse pounding rhythms and angst of four working class guys with the subtle overtones of the turbulent subconcious, Nerve258 quickly cuts through the crap and grabs hold by the brainstem. |

Press Reviews
Heavy, riff-oriented Hard Rock with ambitious Prog leanings. Stream-of-consciousness lyrics are sung in unison with guitar lines in a manner reminiscent of early Sabbath. (Reviewed by Tom Heyman of Listen.com) Quartet adapts bluesy, '70s-inspired Hard Rock to fit its own disaffected, post-Grunge mindset. The vocalist resembles a cross between Ozzy Osbourne and the more eccentric David Thomas from Pere Ubu. - Will York. "Nerve258 has the perfect mix of new and old, Classic guitar sounds mixed with the aggressive emotions that spill out of their music. The songs they create are addictive and well written.. I can hear influnces ranging from Tool to Black Sabbath to Alice in chains all mixed together to form something new. Make no mistake, N258 is one of the best."
