Press Reviews
"The sound is Folk-Rock-ish, but more Rock, with strong yet gentle female vocals. The band plays excellent together, sounds tight. Great lyrics and a sort of a Funk thing going on too. Beautiful voice, good songs and great harmonies. Radio friendly!" Jaime, Host of Something Cool on KNRK 94.7 4/99 “Every element is there for the Malia Cortez Band: pretty female vocals, sensitive and sweet execution, band members being on the same page,” — The Rocket, Nov. 4, 1998. |
