Artist description
Jeff Foster has often been called a guitar virtuoso. To date, he remains pleased yet unconvinced by this. Nonetheless, his eclectic musical tastes, technical mastery of his instrument, and soulful feel makes labeling him (or his music) a difficult undertaking. His jams contain elements of classical, flamenco, jazz, new-age, pop, rock, blues, country, and world musics. A versatile multi-instrumentalist in his youth, these days Jeff focuses on nylon-string acoustic guitars when playing solo, and a custom nylon-string MIDI guitar-synth system (created by Turner Guitars of San Jose, California) when gigging with bands. |
