Press Reviews Formed in november 1998, the Hill Valleys have been rocking the brazilian punk rock scene since the beggining. From their homemade demo tapes from late 1998 and early 1999 to their first album released in Brazil in january 2000, the band has always been anmagnet of good reviews from alternative magazines, zines and newspapers. What they said? Basically the same: "They are a band that do the melodic pop punkrock that seems so easy to be done, but no one else does this good..." "Lyrics aboutlove, broken hearts and melodies that you will be singing for weeks after listening itfor the first time..." "heavy guitars, melodic vocals and catchy songs..." "Songs ready to play on radio stations all over...". Their influences go from Weezer, Screeching Weasel and Queers to bands like The Ataris and Blink 182. But that's only what they say, you can hear some 80's melodies in their music and a lot of never listened stuff from their guitars... Next time you ask for the name of the band playing on the alternative radio stationor the cd playing on the stereo of you college party don't be surprised if someone says: Hill Valleys.

Additional Info We had already released our first cd. You can find some of our songs in some local compilations. We had teamed up with Triple Word Score from Canda. We've got a split that should be released later this fall by criminal rcords.
