Artist History
Although Christopher grew up in a musical household, his career as a musician didn’t start until the age of 20 as he began travelling across Canada and overseas. Months of solitary travel prompted Christopher to take his own personal soul-searching journey and discover an innate gift for singing, playing guitar and writing evocative and tuneful acoustic-pop songs. Christopher’s debut album, Even Though the Clouds Are Here, expressed his life experiences through lilting ballads and intelligent lyrics. Shortly after releasing this album, Christopher began a series of international solo performances. Exposure to different musical cultures provided fertile ground for Christopher’s development as a performer and songwriter. Upon his return to Canada, Christopher continued to perform and study his craft. While developing hisconcept for a follow-up album, Christopher tapped into a network of supporting friends and musiciansto assemble an energetic back-up band. The addition of lead guitar, bass and drums enhanced Christopher’s powerful vocal delivery, and allowed him the opportunity to deliver his songs in a freshnew format. Indeed, Christopher’s live performances are compelling—evocative lyrics and catchy melodies never fail to captivate the listener. Upcoming performances across Ontario and Europe continue to expose Christopher’s blend of roots, rock and pop to a whole new audience. Falling Down, Christopher’s currently available CD, definitely captures the strength and essence of these live performances. Christopher is enthusiastic about the evolution of his music—and we’re confident his fans will appreciate this latest endeavour. |
