 | | | | Artist History VuLvABoYs are one of the most eclectic Italian
 Electronic Bands.
Based in Imola, Italy, they have
started producing Acid House Music
for the most important and famous
discoteques in Italy. They collaborated
(as 'VBoys') between 1994 and 1997
with famous European artists such as
Lucio De Paolis, Paolo Ballessi, Gerard
Berhardt, Paul DeVriez and with
Internationally knewn DJs like Adamantino,
Luca Macchina, Roberto DeCrescenzo
and Harvey Thompson.
In the meantime they produced a number
of their own remixes with the famous
label Re-Chords, gaining international
success with 'Fave di Fucka',
'Gimme more sex' and finally, a series
of complete albums and EP’s, from the
discussed 'Troppi Stupri Sotto Casa Mia'
(1995) to the last 'Dance in a Rape Vision', that won the prestigious Sorrisi & Musica National Award as "Best 2001 Electronic Album".
Their original style blends together a
number of influences, from pop to jazz,
united to their never ending research of new
forms of creation.
VuLvABoYs do not use other artists'
samples, they create samples and loops
using a number of different instruments and
voices, often collected in the street,
and lately they have added some 'political'
content to their musical journey,
above all after being among the promoters
of the Genua Social Forum during the
Summer of 2000, when they wrote the
intense hymn 'No Global - Genua 2001'
which reached #1 in the Italian Dance Charts.
VuLvABoYs are currently recording their
new album with their own label (Aqua Vulva)
with artists like Frankie Hi-Fi, Joe DeMinico
and the vocalist Petunia. The album,
produced by Claudio Ciccetti and Enzo
Prandstraller, will be a step further for
VuLvABoYs, and a great surprise for their
fans. In the pipeline, also new remixes of their
hymn (formerly B-Side of the single 'Fatti i cazzi tuoi')
'Viva L'Italia'.
VuLvABoYs are not just famous for their
sound, they are the most outrageous,
insulting, irriverent artists in the Medio-Eval
Italian Star System.
They have created scandals exhibiting
completely naked at Sanremo Dance 1997,
gigging in Milan (Piazza Del Duomo) at 4
o’clock in the morning, and joining many
anarchic movements 'against the system'.
Addicted to every kind of form of protest,
VuLvABoYs have chosen not to please
anyone, but their millions of fans in Europe love
their style, so angry, rough and unique.
 | | | | Group Members VuLvABoYs are:
Xavier Garcia: dj, guitarist, noise producer,
actor. He’s the sound-hunter, he collected in
a few years more than a million different
sounds of any kind. As an actor, he’s getting
much famous as 'Pietro' in the fiction
'Un commissario tra noi'. As a solo musician,
he toured with artists like Franco Colombo
and Vik. He also co-produced a hip hop
album by the french artist Denis DeLucien.
Marco Palizzi: dj, bassist, computer wizard.
He’s the mind behind the rough sound.
His favorite sentence is 'more noise,
more love in our discoteques'. Politically
active in the anarchical area, he got
international fame for his D’n’B version of the
'Internazionale', that reached the Dance
Top 10 in 1999 in many European countries,
such as Denmark and Sweden.
Marco’s most important collaboration
include 6 to 7, Tom Fostex, Max Pazzaglini
and the rock opera 'Sconvolgente' by Marcello
Dell’Urti, for whom he composed the
musical score. Besides working for
 VuLvABoYs new projects, Marco is
producing a solo album whose name
(in his typical insulting style) will probably be
'Caciocappella'.
Enrico La Forgia: producer.
He has worked since the mid '80s with
artists like Riccardo Del Foglio, Marco Maselli
and Nina Forster, who won the Euro Pop
Festival in Berlin, 1987 with the song 'Djerba’s
Grass', written by Enrico with Tunisian star
Ali Zenaidi. During the ‘90s Enrico produced
a number of Dance acts like 'Summer is love'
by Franka, 'What is magic' by Ale & Elo,
'Du-Di-Da-Do' by Baseball Sisters
(a world hit in the summer of 1993),
and lately all the most recent albums of Max
Tessari, including a song awarded during
1999 San Remo Festival, 'Aria di botte'.
Enrico is now also producing a collection of
Russian Dance Hits for the American market,
called Spassiba, together with other
producers like Sister of Jamotha,
Dan O’Sullivan and Caprice DesDieux.
He's also going to produce many Russian
artists like Natasha Voroninova, Alex N and
a young 16 years old 'lolita-like' Dance
singer called Demetra.

Geniali!
