    Artist description
A band, based in Mobile, AL, composed of 6 autogenous and diverse fragments, existing in mutual dependency. A product of the diversity of its fragments, granted a unique personality through the contributions of several involved entities, both current and former. A personality continually evolving. When asked what it resembles..... Responds, at best.... Some questions simply do not apply. An individual. A sum of parts. A whole. Red Museum is a creature spawned of musical evolution. It strives as a collective ever toward a sonic ideal that is sometimes too abstract to verbalize. The group has met with myriad descriptions, including “alternative” and “space rock.” Red Museum has often attempted to classify itself within a genre, and has met with semantic vagueness. Its sound often takes on a dark, somber hue, which is present even in the most upbeat and energetic songs in its arsenal. The ideal toward which it moves is one of depth, beauty, and emotional expression, unfettered by the constraints of the mediocrity that dominates society. In a live setting, its sound moves bodies across the floor, entrances them, uplifts them, destroys them, and repeats. Verbiage does not carry the proper impact Red Museum hopes to convey. To know abstraction, one must experience it firsthand. Thus, the invitation is open to all who wish to know Red Museum.
