    Artist History
Monica's Last Prayer was born as a concept in late 1993, by Paul Broome (then guitarist with UK goth band 'Earth Calling Angela'). Four tapes of four-track material were recorded and released between Spring of 1994 and late 1997, despite the acclaim brought by these releases other commitments (the bands 'Fluid Power Society' (1998-2001), and 'Pihr' (2001-current)) meant that the MLP project was wound up in 1998. However, like all good villains it just wouldn't stay dead. While working on new material for 'Pihr' in 2001, the idea of resurrecting MLP first popped into Paul's head - with a view to re-recording the old four-track material, updating it, and finally getting it to the audience which it deserved the first time around. The first evidence of this return to life, will be the debut EP "Since First We Met", scheduled for release this Summer (2002).
