Artist History
Judge Drain is a passionate, modern hard-rock band based in central New Jersey. The group was formed in 1997 when lead singer/guitarist Peti, bassist, Dave Lewis, drummer Bob Wisnack, and guitarist JR Kazar abandoned their previous bands. Their newly created musical vision mixed elements of Metallica, Korn, Megadeth, Disturbed, and Rage Against The Machine. Lyrically, the songs dealt with the challenges of forging ahead in the face of depression, death, and betrayal. The band's first CD, Simons Cross, was released in the winter of 1999.
In June 2001, the band bid farewell to JR Kazar and ushered in a new era with rhythm guitarist, Shotwell. The band recently finished production of a five song EP, The Enemy Unseen. The EP takes the band's musical vision to the next level with even harder-hitting songs.
This fall, Judge Drain said goodbye to long-time drummer Bob Wisnack and welcomed Matty G. to their lineup.
Judge Drain has opened for many notable acts including Ronnie James Dio, Jackyl, Overkill, Tesla, Savatage, Warrant, Enuff Z Nuff, Bruce Kulick of Kiss, and Zebra. The band has also performed on the New Jersey and New York stops of Vans Warped tour. |

Press Reviews
"This central Jersey four-piece slams Aerosmith's rocks, Alice's chains and Axl's attitude in a snarling, swaggering, retro-roar blast of head-bangin' power..." |
