Artist description
Hardin Thomas began playing music in Richmond,
Virginia. He moved out to Montana in 1996
and began developing his style with fellow band
member Ben Bermes. Hardin recorded his first album
"Aspire" in Missoula, Montana with bluegrass fiddler,
Tory Dugan. Hardin then accepted a scholarship to
study music in Miami, Florida. And later was invited to
attend the Berklee School of Music, in Boston,
Mass. However, he decided to put off this honor
to begin work on his next album SOUL MOUNTAIN.
His demo from this project soon sparked interest
from promotors in Miami and New York.
Hardin Thomas recently signed with PRISM RECORDS.
Hardin writes powerful lyrics supported by strong melodies. His takes pride in laying down what he calls "a canvas of simplicity",
and then colors his songs with vocal harmony and soulful solos. The soothing nature of Hardin's music allows the listener to
embrace complicated world and life issues. Hardin's music takes you from the depths of depression to the quest for understanding
this materialistic, war ridden world. Alternatively, he takes you with him to the heights of brand new love.
And always has an underlying theme of hope.
Although Hardin's music addresses serious issues,
his presence on stage and in person is light-hearted
and, above all, fun. Hardin performs an extremely
entertaining show and has a wonderful stage
presence. You cannot help but laugh with him as
he takes you on a musical journey. |
