Artist description Possibly the oldest ‘new’ band in Memphis. Comprised of four excellent musicians who have played virtually every venue in the Delta, with various incarnations of bands, it has taken years for this band to form… But it was worth the wait! These ‘old dogs’ may be a little gray around the edges, but the fire still rages!! They play an ‘in-your-face’ rock & roll, blues-rock, classic rock style of music that never goes out of date. The original music is outstanding and they can cover almost anyone, you never know what tune will come up next… But don’t expect a homogenized jukebox, every song they play becomes uniquely theirs – very recognizable but with its’ own distinct edge. The members of the ForeFathers genuinely like and respect each other. They love to play, have a GREAT time doing it…. And it shows on stage.
