    Artist History
The Seattle music scene was in full bloom. Grunge bands like Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, and Pearl Jam were becoming global super-stars. The world's eyes were on Seattle. Caroline, Hollywood, and other record labels were knocking on Rattletrap's door and the band was on the verge of signing a major-label deal. For five years, from 1991-1996, they had written and recorded numerous cuts, headlined Seattle's premier clubs, and built a name for themselves in Seattle's saturated hard-rock music scene. However, before signing their soul away to a major, the band would call it quits. Rattletrap's legacy lives on in the music, pictures, and video footage that remain. Though never commercial agents, Rattletrap exemplifies what it meant to be a Seattle band during the early to mid '90s, and offers a glimpse into a time when grunge owned rock and roll.
