Press Reviews
Miriam Lamen is a name you should be hearing a lot more of in the future. Their chill out sounds, shuffling beats, and husky vocals hint at Brand New heavies meet Zero 7. With a sussed eclectic fusion of great melodies and imaginative ideas it is no wonder that Black Star Liner producer Choc is working with them.
They have also recorded demos with Nightmares On Wax whose next album features the sultry vocals of lead singer Miriam. The rest of the group Ged (drums) and Keith (guitars) is complemented when they play live with Mike (bass) and Michelle (Keyboards).
having supported Big Boss Man, Beverly Knight, and the James Taylor Quartet, things are really looking up for one of the coolest bands around. |
