Artist History
Isle of View was first conceived at a recording session of local band Tralfaz. Three of the members of IoV were present at the session: Jon and Jeremy being members of Tralfaz, and Nik doing the recording. The recording wasn't going so well, so Jon and Jeremy quit Tralfaz and began to talk to Nik about starting a band. Shortly thereafter, the three of them came up with the name Isle of View and began to audition bass players and singers. After an exhaustive search, Geoff was chosen to play bass, and Josh to sing.
As mentioned before, Jon and Jeremy were formerly members of Tralfaz. The band was a lot of fun for them, but the time and finances involved didn't pay out in terms of success for the band. Nik was forced to quit the band Revelaria when he moved from Connecticut to Maryland. Geoff was formerly a member of The Doo Doo Heads. Last but not least, Josh was the singer for a hardcore band out of Pennsylvania called Burn the End, which he quit due to musical differences. These members with diverse styles and tastes fuse their individual talents to create the unique sound of Isle of View.
