Artist description Christopher Mills prefers not to be pigeon-holed into a particular genre that may or may not be popular right now. Ultimately, as pretentious as it may sound, Christopher is simply trying to translate what he is already feeling inside. He’s said that it’s like a song is already there [inside of him] and he is merely attempting to decode or decipher it - like putting together a puzzle. Christopher’s chief concern is that what does come out is sincere, visceral, and hopefully of some redeemable artistic value. He wants to be expressing himself musically for the rest of his life. He strives to write songs so fundamentally sound that they achieve a “timelessness,” and ideally could be performed at any age.
