Artist History
In fifth grade, I took up the drums. I played drums in a duet-type band with Ken Vasoli (lead singer and bassist of The Starting Line) until seventh grade, when Kevin Kurtz (drummer for 5 Days Ahead) took over drums in the band. I moved to guitar and the band was originally called Fallout. After several years of toying around with sounds and names, Smash Adams was established and gained minute local success. We continued playing together until 10th grade, when Vasoli left the band to pursue his pop punk act in The Starting Line, gaining a contract with Drive Thru Records shortly thereafter. I continued to play guitar on and off with Kevin Kurtz. We formed a jam band in 11th grade that was rather short-lived. In the summer of junior year in high school I joined the band Hinder as their second guitarist. Hinder has just released a 6 song demo (check us out at www.mp3.com/hinder). My first major solo production happened in junior year of high school. This production, featuring piano, guitar, and alto sax (all played by me) is currently kept for personal enjoyment; I have never released it on mp3.com. The rest of the songs posted have been the work of 2 years. There are many more songs in the catalog, but these represent the more polished works and those that I am most proud of. |
