Music Style No set style encompasses our music

Artist History These guys started playing about 3 years ago and developed a kinship for writing music together. They have never lived in the same town, which makes practicing and playing together relatively hard. Although, whenever they do get together the music flows and great songs are written with ease and quickness. These songs represent just a few of the more than 20 that they have collaborated on over the past 2 1/2 years. They recently finished recording an 11 track CD entitled Hydrophonic, which isn't 100% completed as of today. What you are hearing on this website is just the raw stylings of Sweetroot with just the two members and a simulated drum track. The recording hasn't even been master mixed yet due to the plans to have other musicians contribute to the completion of this debut album. Just take the time to listen to a few of the songs and you will hear the potential for greatness in the amazing voice and thought provoking lyrics that Chuck D lays down with his own unique quality.
