Artist History Been a musician since 1969, starting with piano naturally, with no help from any teachers until My Mother and Father caught me in the living room, playing the US Air Force Song (OFF we go, into the wild blue yonder!) off of sheet music (Taught myself to read! ) with no assistance from anyone(Dad was a Sargeant !). After that, I learned rapidly, and learned Trumpet at West Riverside School and Mission Junior High School, Both in Riverside, California. I Played The Jazz Trumpet Position in the Richmond High School Jazz Band of 1975, when our 22 - piece Jazz Orchestra won the chance to play at the Monterey Jazz Festival, right after Chuck Mangione and his band, including the enchanting Ester Satterfield (NO PRESSURE!!!!). We played to over 100,000 people!! AMAZING!!! From then on, I have played in bands around the San Francisco Bay Area, and did a special solo gig at "Blues and Art by the Bay" on Treasure Island ( the island had not had an event since the 1939 Worlds Fair. ) In Short, I seen A LOT!
