Artist description my name is quentin j. thompson: Devoted husband and father of three.I'm a 34-year-old,hardworking,GOD-fearing man.My musical interest began when I was a young boy,growing up in the small town of Greenwood,LA. I guess being limited with things to do; I relied upon AM radio for support. When I would ask someone if they liked a particular song,they would say,"How does the song go?"And I could paint them a picture of every instrument played in the song. When the late 70's and early 80's came along,I noticed the changes of music.I was able to adapt accor- dingly.Never taking musical instrument classes,I could only rely upon mandated music classes provided by the elementary school system.I've always been fascinated by strings and drums. When the early 80's came along,one particular artist caught my undivided attention, the late Roger Trout- man.His music had everything I would do,only If I could do It.His untimely death left me feeling empty.But I've always loved listening to early 70's groups, such as Queen, Chicago, Cat Stevens and Fleetwood Mac. That was what I was limited to growing up. Music was considered music back then .{No particular genre'}. Sure, my mother would buy45's of Al Green, the Isley Brothers,etc...but their music came by the truckloads.{They all sounded the same}. I guess that's what promted me to get involved in music. A short time ago, I bought a keyboard. Nothing fancy , just a keyboard.But this keyboard, which I call Sabrina, allows me to express my emotions and feelings. When I met my partner, Brian D. Johnson, his lyrics made the empty places of my music seem full. Eventhough most of my music is instrumental,He and I have formed the "2Phat Production Team". We currently have between 85 and 90 pieces ready for publishing. We are currently working with 3 artist that sing our material to give it vocals and livelyhood. We are patiently waiting to be picked up by a record label.Our patience is growing short, because we want the World to hear what we bring to the table.With GOD with us every step of the way,we can never go wrong.Listen to my music and see and hear the picturesque emotions.
