Artist History
My name is Flannel Sheets Shawn and I grew up
in a small South Jersey town, and have now found
myself in Mechanicsburg, PA. I'm 22 and take
pride in being our lead singer, and playing the
guitar, although I seem to be pretty terrible at
it. I really shouldn't be in the band but none
of them have the heart to tell me that which I
thank them for everyday. Seriously though I love
Dave Matthews and playing every instrument. -----------------
My name is Box Spring Nick, and I've known
Flannel Sheets Shawn since 7th or 8th grade
when we played baseball together and sucked
and made fun of everyone else for being good.
We both got into music and found punk together,
I found Lagwagon to be my initial interest
thanks to Frank. My guitar studies began my
senior year of high school and has never quit.
I love music except rap cause that isn't music.
I met Fold-out-Futon Phil 55 in my physics class
my first semester here at school when I
commented on his shirt because it was a crappy
punk band that I liked, and then we've hung out
since. And our newest addition Queen Size
Mattress Mike came along our flyer and we ate
lunch. I'm 115 years old and have no fingers. -------------
My name is Queen Size Mattress Mike Karabinos,
but since 5th grade i've been known as binos
to most people, until i came to college and
no one knew about that name. i am from holland,
pennsylvania, about 20 minutes from northeast
philadelphia. i started playing drums 6 years
ago i think when i bought a drum set off of a
kid in school for 300 dollars and it's still
the same kit i use today, but all the heads
and cymbals and stands have changed. my
favorite bands are weezer, the rentals, and
the ataris. i also like refused, the mr. t
experience, operation ivy, Xmilk, afi, good
riddance, nofx, radiohead, and other things
i guess. i came about "the legitimate excuse"
in philosophy class via a flyer on the wall...
i've been trying for a while to get a bad
together but it hasnt work, and when i saw the
flyer i was excited to be able to play again.
I love playing our songs, i think my favorite
is Room 106 that's an awesome song.
-------------
Fold-out Futon Phil 55 is the name and
procrastinations my game. If youre not a big
fan of alliteration you can just call me
Philly. Grew up in coconut country Hawaii
and moved to Maryland when i was 12. I live
in place called Wasteland Gardens where my
hobbies include the 3 Bs (B*ngs, B*wls and
B*unts). I was told to censor that. You kids
are smart, figure it out. I got my first
hibachi grill at Wal-mart for 15 bucks. Dont
tell me i suck cause ive only been playing
the thing for 4 days. Met Boxspring a while
back in College and he introduced me to Flannel
Sheets. They were looking for someone that had
'skillz on da grill' and asked me to be in this
crappy punk rock band so i said sure. I like
flip-flops, sleeping and stuff that grows. Keep
it burning kids.
