Artist History Robert Kelly (acoustic guitar) and Josh Kelly (Percussion) are both brothers, about a year and a half apart in age. In thier late teen years they came together as best friends. Robert met Christopher Giles (bass) in freshmen year high school. The two were instant best friends. But it wasn't until Robert approached his musically talented brother many years later that the band would form together. The name Rain comes from the inspiration of a local band named Colors. The first song that Colors wrote together was called "Rain". So the name of the band is a tribute to the band that inspired three guys to make music.
