Artist description
Los Angeles-based folk artist, Nova Jones, is a character unto himself.
Known for his distinct voice and catchy lyrics, his songs erase the boundary
between truth and fiction. His unique songwriting style is perfectly captured
in Junky Monkey, a song that delves into the life of a sock monkey-turned lounge singer-
turned crack addict. Nova's music isn't all quirk and cartoon; By the Sea
is a testament to his own search for inner-peace. Most of his music, of late,
is colored by a near-death experience that he has elected to call
The Gospel According to Jones. One evening not too long ago, while walking
home from a local dive, Nova was hit by a car. The journey that ensued directly
thereafter is, if anything, an amazing story. |
