Artist History
Dogwalker is an electronic music group from Montreal, Canada. The cultural diversity which permeates this city has greatly influenced the duo's spirited brand of electronic rock music. Andrew Doucet and Marc Bertola draw from the energy and sounds that surround them to create songs suffused with haunting melodies, complex polyrhythms and uplifing vocals. The songs link together to form an epic story illustrated through music and lyrics. For live performances, extra musicians join in to replace or enhance the electronics used in the studio. In every live concert, Dogwalker's most crucial objective is to create connections between the artist and the audience. By its very nature, music brings people together. This goal is both conceptual and practical: Dogwalker often calls on the participation of the audience to strengthen and enrich the live experience with positive spirit-through the use of their voices, bodies, and minds. |
