Artist description
"Cogito consists of the four essential elements
of a musical group. Each corner of the shape is
coherent of its own background, influence, and
style. When combined the polygon takes on a form
of sonic chaos attacking the senses without fear
of dangering its listener, a melodic pseudo-eutopia
which reaches the deepest senses of the cortex
and tranquilizes the brain, and a balled-up fist
smashed against the wall showing that music,
whether slow or unhinged, can channel your energy
in a positive way releasing the emotion which has
built up inside you. Whether discussing employment,
loss of a loved one, or not being able to take much
more, we as a band try very hard to let the listener
identify with the context of the music. The basis of
Cogito is this, whether drums, bass, guitar, or
vocal, we will hit a part of your past or present
that will funnel your cornucopia of emotion into
a cup you can give to someone else or shake up and
explode into someone elses face." |
