Artist History Nicole, the singer, wanted to do the whole "singer/songwriter" thing, similar to Dashboard Confessional. Unfortunately, Nicole couldn't play guitar to save her life. Adrian, who can easily write music on several instruments, was begged into helping Nicole. Thus, 1*31*85 was born. Nicole writes the lyrics and usually the melody and Adrian finishes the songs.
