    Artist description
I play Gospel music that flips styles. I love all forms of music, and intend to experess myself accordingly. I am a church boy with an attitude. Not that its all about me, but that I have to be myself. My music reflects all the different styles of music that I love. Music is a wonderful way for me to express my feelings. Writing allows me to express my thoughts. Sometimes these thoughts are best expressed through instrumentals and other times through vocals or poetry. With my musical projects my goal is to do it unto God, project the messages that come to me from God, worship God, and entertain my fellow through expressing my appreciation for all types of music.

    Artist History
I grew up in the church. As a youngster I had a passion for Gospel music especially Quartet and More radical stuff like Rance Allen, Clark Sisters and the Winans. At the age of 11 a wonderful man named Thomas Sol Noble encouraged me to learn to play either guitar or bass. To spite my cousin Myron (Mr. Noble's Grandson), I chose bass because I thought he wanted to play bass and he didn't let me play his drums enough. I hated learning country western music and my teacher grew frustrated with me because I could play more complicated things than what he was teaching me. At that age I didn't realize that country western and quartet were quite similar. Since I didn't practice country western enough, I lost my financial support. But I realized at that age that I had a gift of hearing and as I became more acquainted with the bass I noticed that I could pick up bass lines naturally. Though I didn't study music formally, I continued to attend musicals at the Toledo Quartet Music Association with my grandmother. During my teen age years I began to excel at football and later wrestling. During this time music became less of a priority. It would take 14 years and a serious knee injury to leave football. The moment I realized my football days were over, I got an old Gibson Style Bass From my Friend Deon Thompson. I got the bass fixed and began playing. Though I hadn't played in over a decade, I was surprised to see that I could still play. Shortly after, I renewed my relationship with Jesus Christ. My pastor Elder Charles McBee encouraged me to play with the Choir. There I met Chris Walton, Chuck Moye and LaVell Hancock. Each of these men has influenced me in some way. In 1998, I moved from Toledo, to Ann Arbor, Michigan. I began to play at a church there for about six months. One day I decided that just playing in the church wasn't enough, so i started working on my own projects. I met an excellent bassist by the name of Glen Brady. He showed me the true meaning of what practicing could do, because this cat is sick on a bass and he has the nerve to be humble about it. For the past year I have been working on various projects and really studying my influences.
