Artist History THE SNOT ROCKETS emerged on the local Western New York scene in late '94 amid a myriad of metal and cover bands. Years later, not much has changed on the scene. Snubbed by the "cool" punks as 'not punk enough' & scoffed by rock 'n rollers as 'just plain crap,' the SNOT ROCKETS bloodline from lead SNOT Lester's first band, FRIED ALIVE, up to the present lineup has always been punk, originals & do-it-yourself promotion. Punk to the SNOT ROCKETS is attitude, ethics & spirit. The revolving & open door policy of the band has created a family vibe. Today's lineup consists of Lester singing, Dr. Flip on guitar, returning family member Spaz on bass and Ross Vegas on drums. But the SNOT ROCKETS would not be complete without the inspiration & kick in the ass from unofficial member, Enu Nyusa of iconoclastic spoken word genre. The band has 2 CDs–including the latest "Liberty Blues" & countless songs on compilations. The SNOT ROCKETS have played an assortment of eclectic venues in Southern Canada and the Northeastern USA & their PUNK ARMY fan base continues to spread.

Press Reviews As soon as the Advance CDR of "Liberty Blues" came through my letterbox (well that's actually a lie, I had to go and sign for it at my local Post Office where the man was delighted in his thick Yorkshire accent to say to me "you 'ave a package from t' SNOT ROCKETS!) I was hooked - fast frantic Hardcore, with a feel good factor - been compared to BAD RELIGION, NEW BOMB TURKS, but some of the songs on here bring to mind riffs that wouldn't seem out of place on the DESCENDENTS' "Milo.." album - all neatly wrapped up with some fantastic , and totally unique vocals! I don't think the name of a band has ever suited their style of music more! New album is approaching… -ANSON BOSS TUNAGE RECORDS
