Artist History
It all started one summer night Ixara and Harris(the founding members) two guys with a guitar wrote their first song. Ixara moved away to San Diego that summer and Harris was left alone. They delt with the situation very well writing songs over the internet and phone. All they needed now was a drummer they looked and found one in San Diego but it didn't work out with him. They then found Dustin he had recently left his previous band and took up drums Harris and Dustin practiced together aswell during lunchtime at school they then decided Dustin should join the band. They began to build a set of songs and focused on everything. Ixara then moved to Alberta. Ixara took the bus to Vancouver for their first show King George's Talent Show. It was a huge success. They then recorded two songs. On May 25, 2002 Square 9 played at the Playdium Band Wars at Metrotown in Burnaby it was their second show and it went really well they had a good line up of songs and a positive crowd. Now they are getting ready for a summer of shows and a full length demo cd all self-promoted. Harris Guitar, Vocals, Ixara - Bass, Vocals and Dustin - Drums, Vocals |
