    Artist History
Revolver is a six-member rock and roll band from Crystal, New Mexico. The first members of the band started the group at a late night music festival in August 1995, when they performed impromptu six songs on acoustic guitar. In these early years, the band chose to cover select songs from the fifties and sixties, insisting on playing lesser-known singles and b-sides that featured strong backbeats, doo-wop backing vocals, hand clapping and scathing double-string guitar solos. At a feverish pace, the band reinvented Eddie Cochran’s Twenty Flight Rock, the Vipers’ No Other Baby and Berry Gordy Jr. and Janie Bradford’s Money. Testing the crowds, the band played their own songs also. In 2000, the band unanimously decided to change its name from Falsetto to Revolver, confident that it had evolved into a formidable rock and roll act performing original songs. In between a flurry of shows in 1999 and 2000, the band immersed itself in rehearsals preparing to record its debut album on the Pineland Records label. In the fall of 2000, the band proudly released Resolve, a 12-song compact disc album, which represents a faithful studio version of the band’s live sound. The band has performed at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah: Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona; the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico; and at various parades, fairs, talent shows, music festivals, benefit concerts, parties and casinos throughout the Southwest. In October 2000, the band was pleased to join Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and 70’s greats, the Lovin’ Spoonful and Badfinger, at a benefit concert for fire victims in Colorado. Revolver has more recently made various appearances in Tempe, Arizona, Farmington, New Mexico, Gallup, New Mexico and Window Rock, Arizona. Before a growing number of fans, the band is introducing new material destined for a its second album release Spring or Summer 2002.
    Group Members
Aaron Francisco (Bass): Aaron started with Revolver as a Roadie, and eventually came to play bass guitar for the band. Aaron, an avid music listener, learned the rudiments of the bass guitar in a just few months and applied to the bass what he enjoyed as a devout listener of ska, big band, swing and grunge music. Aaron, enrolled at a branch campus of the University of New Mexico, is pursing a bachelor degree in University Studies. Ronald Davis (Drums, Percussionist): Serving the band as its manager, Ronald was one of the band’s early drummers. Throughout high school, Ron delved into Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, the Beatles, CCR and other groups. After high school, Ron chased jobs and a college education in Denver, Colorado; Chicago, Illinois; and Bismark, North Dakota. After returning home to Crystal, New Mexico, Ron joined the band as percussionist and Manager. Richard Davis (Lead Guitarist): Ric first picked up a guitar in junior high; years after his dad bought it for him. From that point on, Ric has steadily improved his dexterity and speed, always willing to learn new sounds and songs. Aanor Louis (Drums, Backing Vocalist): When the band lost its drummer, Aanor, who was thirteen at the time, assumed the role of drummer. Aanor is a self-taught drummer and guitarist. Amazingly, he learns best by listening. Led Zeppelin, the Black Crowes, the Beatles, Stone Temple Pilots and many others have influenced his approach to Revolver’s music. A junior in high school, Aanor will graduate in 2002. Hondo Louis (Rhythm Guitarist; Lead Vocalist): One of the original band members, Hondo has written most of the band’s material, relying on the experiences of friends and family. Hondo is self-taught on guitar and takes the role of rhythm guitarist in the band. Hondo currently works for the Navajo Nation. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University and is pursuing a business degree Communications and Entertainment Media Management. Kumen Louis (Guitarist; Backing Vocalist): Kumen is also one of the original members of the band. The entire band agrees that Kumen has uncontested stage presence. Apart from his duties as co-manager of the band, he steps in when the band needs another guitar, bass guitar or backing vocal. Kumen, back from two well-spent years in mid western USA, is managing the group. Apart from Revolver, Kumen is an actor on stage, film, TV and radio. In fall 2000, he will be enrolling in a University pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
