    Artist description
iDiot HAS RETURNED! It's been many long years, but suddenly iDiot will once again fill your life with their massive throbbing glow. And not just and iDiot, this is a new and improved version of the same iDiot that we've all come to depend on. Don't worry, though, the same three outcasts are still pumping their life-force into the chaotic sound waves that comprise their music, but with new songs, improved energy - a true cataclysm of feelings peeling back the leathery hide of reality and exposing a molten, squirming, screaming fiend, the raging behemoth that does know or feel, the deepest power at the very root of the universe. Greed, Fear, Envy, Anger, Loneliness, Alienation and Frustration all congregating in this overwhelming experience we call Life. And now on the eve of the return of iDiot comes the dark speculation - Where have they been? - Why have they left us? Some say they've gone off to distant lands to fight the Chemical Wars; others believe they've been doing time for violations of the national code. A few have even suggested that they never left, but that we, in our blindness, have simply been unaware of their presence behind the closed doors and barred windows of these huddled and suspicious communities in which we dwell. The truth, then, remains a mystery, shrouded in the darkness of the past, as are all events that have gone on before. No matter though, for iDiot is on the rise! Mere seconds remain before the riotous suburban sounds take hold of our nighttime and wring the pain from its neck, spilling the blood of the many so that the few may prosper in their misdeeds. Oh how fortunate we are that this well of Columbian imagination has come home to again fulfill our desires and release the incantations that so set the souls ablaze. Rejoice!

    Artist History
iDiot is the latest incarnation of a band that began in 1981 as Castle Mantis. High school buddies Eric Bohle & Brad Harris were the rhythm guitarist & singer of that seminal South County Sound band, and went on to play in a variety of hippie and punk bands thru the 80’s and 90’s. Actually the band’s name when we recorded this song was DIM, but some other group stole that name from us so we reverted to an earlier name for this particular occasion. We continue to write, record, and perform songs even to this day.
