Artist History
RICK HART Born August 21, 1958, in Kansas City Mo. Raised in Kanasas City,Kansas, in the small community of Turner. He always loved music from a young age. He would sit on the floor and listen to his father strum out tunes on his guitar, such as "Johnny B.Good" and "Secret Agent Man". Rick has been involved in music most of his life, playing saxaphone for 14 years and guitar for 10 years. Rick also sang in the Church Choir from the age of 12, until he entered the U.S.Navy at 17 years of age.
While in the navy, Rick quickly joined a band, performing special concerts on the hanger deck of the aircraft carriers to entertain his fellow servicemen. This became a regular event.
After the navy, Rick's musical career was put on hold, as he began his married life. He continued his college education while working fulltime. Rick's love for computers lead him to a voice chat room called,"Mplayer", where he was able to once more, live out his dream of singing to a audience. Although the audience was one of the cyberworld on the internet, it was no less exciting for him than performing in front of a live crowd.
Rick attended the Thunder Bay Music Festival, in Ontario,Canada, where he was introduced to record producer, Randy Moore. Rick is recording his debut cd, titlted "LonelyHarts", to be released in April 2002. Rick has already been invited to perform at the next Music Festival, in August 2002.
Rick's future plans, include recording more cd's and touring Eastern Canada and Central USA.
