Press Reviews John is a fine artist I have listened to many times on Ampcast.com. "And The Sun Will Rise For You" is my favourite song by John Ellis. It reminds me of the best of REM and The Byrds and the song will have you instantly hooked. It is no surprise that the song is riding high in the Ampcast charts. John`s sound is as honest as you get. John`s lyrics are both intelligent and sentimental. On one of his songs he speaks fondly of an elderly relative. He knows we have all been there at some stage and you feel like putting a virtual arm around him when you hear the emotion in the vocal. He plays just about all the instruments on his songs and is not afraid to experiment even with electronic music and collaborate with other mucicians. This artist deserves your attention.
