Artist History Eastern Sunz was founded in 1998 in Ashland, Oregon by Aaron Harris a.k.a. Courage, and Jordan Rose-Merkle a.k.a. Cuju. They started under the name To Those of Higher Consciousness. In 1999, they picked up their DJ, TravisTaylor a.k.a. Travis T. Now known as Eastern Sunz, they are rocking the Northwest, deliviering not only banging beats, but a positive message, which offers a fresh new alternative to the contaminated mainstream so many of us find ourselves flowing into. They have opened for Blackalicious, Boom Bap Project, Oldominion, One Man Army from Binary Star, The Mighty Diamonds, and The Original Wailers.

Group Members The Group consits of 1mo a.k.a. Cuju, who produces all the beats, and writes and performs half of the vox., Aaron a.k.a. Courage, who busts the other half of the vox., and Travis T., who scratches, and busts out with the ill freestyle from time to time.
