Artist History Live and direct out of the Brooklyn borough, JNEIROJAREL is digging his way up through the underground hip hop music scene in NY! Introducing himself to the world as the boom bap producing, melodic funk having, jazzy soul vibe giving cat of the neo era! Bringing blazing mellow hip hop tracks reminecent of the early native tongues but with his own twist that not to many have been able to capture! At the age of 5, JNEIROJAREL'S family moved out of the Brownsville section of Brooklyn! His mother was in the army, so as a result, he lived in many places. (Maryland , Arizona , Georgia, etc.. ) Finally touching down in Houston TX in the mid 80's, his cousin "DJ Starr" put him on to hip hop at an early age! Exposing him to artist like Ultramagnetics/T La Rock/Joe Ski Love/Zulu Nation just to name a few. He developed a true love for the art and would freestyle over instrumentals with his friends in the neighborhood. At the age of 14, JNEIROJAREL started taking music more seriously. His manager at the time had him open up for acts like HI FIVE, YZ, SPECIAL ED, etc.. (89-90) Eventually, he formed a group that he produced called "THE SLUM KIDS"(92). Rocking shows and freestyling with THE PHARCYDE, PRODIGY OF MOBB DEEP, THE GHETTO BOYS, etc.. Life in H-Town's underground hip hop scene was all good, but in 98, JNEIROJAREL felt he had to leave the group and relocate back to NY to broading his musical horizon. Digging his way up and proving himself to the tuff NYC crowd was a mission that was thought to be almost impossible but JNEIROJAREL conquered doubt! Rocking open mic at the "BLACK LILY"(OKAYPLAYER.COM). Blazing gigs at THE WETLANDS, BUTTERFLY CAFE', etc.. Sharing his melodic ruff draft limited edition EP "Section A" to the masses! Letting kats know how he does it! His song " HOW WE DO DIS"(MP3.COM/JNEIROJAREL) reached #1 on the alternative hip hop charts on mp3.com. "Uma Delicia" is another banger with a Brazilian twist! It's like samba meets hip hop from a new perspective! It's just a sample of what's to come! I recommend this to all thoughs that are looking to feel the gap in their hip hop collection!
