Artist description Steve Pinkston is a composer and bassist who writes and records his original compositions from his home in the Cascade Mountain foothills in Oregon.

Artist History After playing with local groups in and around his home town or Manhattan, Kansas, Steve moved to California and joined the progressive rock group Ivory (http://www.gepr.net/i.html#IVORYUS). They recorded one album, then morphed into the group "Bobbidazzler," without Steve. After backing several singer/songwriters, including Lisa Nemzo (http://www.lisanemzo.com/), Steve took a hiatus from the music business for a few years. In 1990, he reunited with his old friend Paul Bass, who was the organist with Ivory, and produced a series of five albums together. Steve is currently working on a new CD of original compositions for release in 2003.
