Artist History
edalsped started as a duo with Oliver Burgelman and Bill Spooner(the Tubes) when they came together to play Oliver's song, "I'd Rather Be The One," in a songwriting competition (competition 2000). The song won, and they got to record the song at the RECORD PLANT in Sausalito. For the recording Justin Flores(bass), and Ryan Billia(drums) were added to the line up. The recording was engineered by Joel Jaffe (co-owner of Studio D); the band members and Joel hit it off instantly, and they kept in close contact. Eventually this relationship would lead the band to record at Studio D with Joel producing a three song ep with them.
PEDALSPED has been playing constantly in San Francisco at venues such as Cafe Du Nord, Bottom of the Hill, Slim's, Hotel Utah, and many more.
