Artist description
Taking influences from all genres of punk, metal, hard rock, and drenching them in emotion, Mr.Stoops writes songs from the heart. They write songs about what they know... Feeling lost, having no place, being burned, and turning it into a giant "F*ck You " in the face of everything that stands in your way.

Artist History
Taking influnces from various genres and sub genres of metal,
and mixing it with a heavy backbone of Misfits / Ramones style punk rock,
Mr.Stoops create a sound all their own. Consisting of Nick McNally ( guitar
and vocals ), John Morrison ( bass ) and Matt Norquist ( drums ), Mr.Stoops
have been busy playing shows and planning a summer tour in support of their
upcoming debut album which is due out mid May, 2002.The band actually already
has one release under their belts in the form of the now infamous " Mr.
Stoops rough demo". It was more or less a practice session that was open air
recorded and sold for 3 and 5 dollars. The 20 copies that were made sold
rather quickly, and the demo was actually reviewed and praised by the online
magazine Rock Hard Horror.com.Hailing from Mt. Ephraim, NJ , Mr.Stoops came
together early 2002, and quickly wrote 13 songs, with lyrics ranging from
depression, loss, regret and angst, to songs filled with hope, determination,
and most prominently, perseverance. The band practices every single day from
between 4 and 7 hours, honing their unmistakable sound. It would be a near
impossible task to find 3 people more hard working and serious about the
music they create. To take a line from the demo review, "While most bands
spend years defining sound and paying dues, Mr Stoops is ready!"
