Artist History
1974 saw their first single 'Tons of Funk Goin Down', released locally and limited to 100 copies (so the members say). The follow-up single the next year 'Ambulance Ride' saw a limtied distribution of 1000 copies. The song presented here (their third release before the 'Ketchup Cookin' album) is the chase theme for 'Chuck Keane, Private Dick', a short-lived detective drama in the 1970s known more for its opening theme (where the star of the show rapidly enters a room to shoot billiard balls into corner pockets, but clearly misses them all) than any plot content or acting ability. |
