Artist History
Born in April 2000 7:38pm the Brody crew’s metamorphosis has taken place over time, and like any butterfly, has now broken from its cocoon and have spawned into something special and beautiful. They were sampled and grew from a number of bands, have under-gone several changes, but now the final entity has hatched to form this unique setup. Changes are inevitable in today’s fickle world, and must be done to improve and mature.
Having recorded an early naïve, but well received demo the Brody Crew have gigged with the likes of Miocene, Number One Son, Defenestration, Kennedy Soundtrack, Caliban, Occupational Hazard, Redefine and Tripswitch.
As this living existence evolves from knowledge and experience so too does the musical conception. Once set out to play physical music for people to transfer energy into a wasted linear motion, the direction has now changed to create music for the heart and soul, or at least to come as close to it as we can. This is perhaps one of the hardest aspirations to accomplish, but we will experiment and push it to the extremity.
As experimenting and testing begins, you will always encounter technical faults but through time and analysis we will develop into an efficient and reliable source of pure harmony. This solid new mould is a force to be reckoned with.
As this epic journey begins the ground we tread upon is uncertain, no one can fully control the outcome, our intentions are valuable but fate will always decide our path……

Press Reviews
++ELLEN BRODY :- Superfruitylowliner; Before I even start to review this cd, I must point out that this is one of the most promising demoes I've heard this month, and perhaps even the most promising british band I've heard for a long time. The music that they so elegantly put on a plate is a prime example of what I like to call
sample metal, following the likes of Incubus and Lost Prophets. However, in my humble opinion, they would, with the help of a major label, offer far more depth than the aforementioned. Opening with the aptly named 'Epic', this slice of 6 minute genius offers a lot. It has the commercial, catchy chorus to keep it alive, but at the same
time creates an effective level of musical integrity, the disc is made up of a lot of tracks, similar in structure, with nicely dispersed Interlude 'work-outs' for the DJ. The title track, is definately the stand out track, offering up punk-like vocals to
a backing of good, solid rock music. Overall, this is a quality CD, giving solid vocals, and music, and is only marred by the fact that they do almost definately rely too much on the sampling. However, they are a very promising act, and are definately someone to watch out for. From Peterborough, write this name down 'Ellen Brody'.
