Artist History
Dreadnot is more a project than a band. It started with several friends getting together, drinking, and playing some reggae. Made up of former members of The Big'Uns and Skankin' Homer, they never intended to play in front of an audience or record an album. Their songs originate from improv jams sometimes lasting 15 minutes or more. Dreadnot is releasing the 6-7 songs that they recorded together in the summer of 2002. Demo versions of some songs are available on the MMR vol 1 comp, along with some solo material recorded by Natty Boy and co vocalist/guitarist Brian. There is also an acoustic song done by the two under Brian's pseudonym, Dub Steamroller, which was released as a split Cd with fellow Mellow Mood artist, Drastic |
