The Moonshine Cherrys started out in Knoxville, TN, as South 333. After building a solid reputation around the university campus, the group went through some lineup changes and emerged as the Moonshine Cherrys as a trio. The reputation caught the ear of Memphis songwriter/rocker Keith Sykes. Sykes knows it all starts with a song; he's been involved as a writer or producer or something with Jimmy Buffett ("Volcano"), John Prine, Rodney Crowell, John Kilzer, Naomi Judd and many others.
