Artist History
iNSTYLUS is a unique fusion of the organic production skills of Chris Harrison and the freefunk inventiveness of Roland Harwood. They formed the band in 1997 which was well overdue as they have known each other for 15 years. Phil Johnston joined in early 1999 to add high octane guitar energy to the sound, with great effect. This year the iNSTYLUS experience was taken on the road and performed live around clubs in the northwest of England; and they've gone down a storm. Past recording credits include some TV and Film soundtracks with BMG's Atmosphere label and they have had a track on various complations('Naturally Stoned' on Millenium Records and the 'East Coast Project 2' album on V2) under a former guise called Mobius Trip. Various record companies have expressed an interest in iNSTYLUS remixing other artists which promises to be an exciting opportunity. With this amount of musical and technical ability they are definitely one to watch for the future. |
