    Artist History
This project was started in 1997, and ended in 1999. Maybe somewhere, sometime, we will get together and make music again. I really enjoyed my part of it - trying to make new, ground-breaking stuff. But as bands go, like life itself, they change; or they just die. Robert Sweet has moved somewhere out in California to find more accepting atmospheres; Stella's faded into the mist, and I'm busy doing other things. Someday the pop will be reborn, maybe. I still believe our music is the future, and should be an example of how good music can be made by a few young geeks on a cheap computer... 'Till next time... - M. Gowan

    Press Reviews
"MFB is rapidly proving itself to be easily one of the very best bands showcased at mp3.com. OW MY HEAD is another quite unique song from a band with a hard-to-define sound. This song is sort of Beck-ish with a fabulously wonky vocal, somewhere between Thom Yorke (Radiohead) and Robert Smith of The Cure. My words of advice to MFB...DO give up your day job." - The one and only Mark Crozner, Mp3.com review
